We have found that through various advanced bariatric treatments we offer such as the Endoscopic Gastric Sleeve, we can help patients lose a significant amount of weight successfully without having to undergo more aggressive surgical procedures that carry a higher risk for complication.

Bariatric Endoscopy

We know losing weight is not easy and surgery may not be the best option for all patients. The field of Bariatric Endoscopy has revolutionized the way we approach weight loss management for our overweight and obese patients. The Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) and Intra-Gastric balloon are non-surgical procedures guaranteed to make you lose weight! With years of success and experience, our team is capable of analyzing your body and creating a weight loss plan that you are comfortable with. Our plans include healthy eating and exercise, to ensure the best results for our patients. We will work with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals. Contact us for a consultation and see if any of these options is right for you!

Endoscopic Gastric Sleeve (Gastroplasty) - (En Espanol)

The Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) is a minimally invasive procedure in which with a small camera we enter the stomach and place sutures along the opposite walls to reduce the volume of the stomach to about 30% WITHOUT SURGERY or any cutting! This helps patients lose weight by having them eat less and make their digestion of food slower thus making them feel full faster. This procedure can help you lose up to 65% of your excess body weight in 1 year! Contact us for a consultation to see if you qualify for the procedure.

Endoscopic revision of a surgical sleeve or gastric bypass

An endoscopic revision of a previous weight loss surgery like the surgical gastric sleeve or gastric bypass can be done as an outpatient procedure with less risks and consistent weight loss compared to surgery. Contact us for more information.

Transoutlet Reduction (TORe) of a Gastric Bypass

The Endoscopic Transoutlet Reduction (TORe) is a minimally invasive weight loss procedure that helps patients who have had a gastric bypass before and now are regaining the weight! Contact us for a consultation to see if you qualify for this safe and effective procedure.

Intragastric Balloon

The Intra-Gastric balloon is a NON-SURGICAL Weight Loss procedure that involves placement of the balloon into the stomach to reduce food intake. Patients lose about 20-30 pounds in 6 months. After 6 months the balloon is removed and patients go home the same day! Contact us for more information.

Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)/Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)

Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection are minimally invasive procedures that allow for en-bloc resections of polyps or small tumors in the gastrointestinal tract without the need for surgery. The advantage of these procedures is that they are potentially curative for superficial cancers with less risk than surgery. These procedures are typically done under monitored anesthesia care, as an outpatient basis, with a short recovery time. Contact us for a consultation to see if you are a candidate for these innovative procedures to remove lesions in the gastrointestinal tract.

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography-ERCP (spyglass and electrohydraulic therapy)

Endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography, or ERCP, is a specialized technique used to study the bile ducts, pancreatic duct and gallbladder. It is now mainly used as a therapeutic procedure to remove stones in the bile duct or pancreatic duct or bypass narrowed areas (stenosis) in the ducts with a plastic or metal stent to relieve obstruction. These procedures can be done on an emergency setting or as outpatient depending the acuity of the patient.

General Gastrointestinal Endoscopy

Upper Endoscopy

Upper endoscopy lets your doctor examine the lining of the upper part of your gastrointestinal tract, which includes the esophagus, stomach and duodenum (the first portion of the small intestine). Your doctor will use a thin, flexible tube called an endoscope, which has its own lens and light source, and will view the images on a video monitor. Click here for more info.

Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy lets your doctor examine the lining of your large intestine (colon) for abnormalities by inserting a thin flexible tube, as thick as your finger, into your anus and slowly advancing it into the rectum and colon. This instrument, called a colonoscope, has its own lens and light source and it allows your doctor to view images on a video monitor. Click here for more info.

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy

PEG stands for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, a procedure in which a flexible feeding tube is placed through the abdominal wall and into the stomach. PEG allows nutrition, fluids and/or medications to be put directly into the stomach, bypassing the mouth and esophagus. Click here for more info.
